Lompoc High School graduate and LA Galaxy player, Julian Araujo, thanked health care workers for their service during COVID-19.
According to a press release, Araujo bought lunch for the medical staff at Dignity Health Urgent Care in Lompoc on Tuesday.
“When my Dad went through cancer treatments recently, the community of Lompoc reached out to my family in many ways and helped us through the tough times,” Araujo said in the press release. “I’ve always wanted to give back, so this is a small treat to say thanks to health care workers in my hometown.”
Araujo is reportedly training with his team in Los Angeles, so Dignity Health says he was unable to be there when the food was delivered. His mom helped coordinate the effort.
