The northbound lanes of Highway 101 north of the Gaviota Tunnel will be closed intermittently on Wednesday to allow Caltrans to perform a rock scaling operation.
The California Highway Patrol will lead motorists to a full stop during the rolling lane closures so Caltrans crews can clear rocks from the roadway.
Closures will take place between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. on May 6.
Caltrans says motorists can expect delays of no more than 10 minutes.
