Learn about law enforcement at Sheriff's Family Day

Sheriff's Family Day is set for this weekend at Madonna Meadows in San Luis Obispo.

The free annual event is hosted by the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Advisory Foundation.

It's open to people of all ages as a chance to get to know local law enforcement and firefighters and check out equipment displays and demonstrations.

There will be free T-shirts, hot dogs and bike raffle tickets for children up to 12-years-old.

It's scheduled to take place on Saturday, Sept. 14, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
