Students within the Lucia Mar Unified School District held a parking lot protest Tuesday pushing for a return to in-class learning.
Students attended their virtual classes from the parking lot of Arroyo Grande High School.
Making their message clear, that they want to return to the classroom, citing the major hurdles that come with online learning.
"Grades have been going down a little bit...a lot of others are also experiencing that," said Olivia Mulder, Central Coast New Tech High School student.
LMUSD is proposing a hybrid model of learning. District leaders are expected to discus that model at a board meeting Tuesday night.
If approved, elementary schools will start at the end of November, middle and high school students would go back in January.
Paso Robles High School and Templeton High School students have also held parking lot protests in the past few weeks.
