A local bakery owner competed in the cooking show competition, "Chopped Sweets," recently.
Libby Ryan, owner of Just Baked Cake Studio & Bakery in Paso Robles, participated in the pastry version of Chopped.
The segment she was featured on was "Bejeweled and Bedazzled" where competitors are faced with three rounds of different baking techniques.
The three rounds included: candied, baked and frosted.
Ryan says some of the challenges on the show included being in a different kitchen and trying not to trip over all the camera cables.
She ended up coming in second place. She says she was super excited to be on the show and made some life-long friends along the way.
Ryan plans on hosting a big watch party when it's safe, and they'll be serving desserts featured on the show.
