A local man tried his luck on Wheel of Fortune Thursday night.

Bryan Idler was one of three competitors on the show.

Idler is the Vice President of Idler's Home in San Luis Obispo. He talked with Pat Sajak about the family business, his wife and newborn baby.

Idler didn't end up winning it all, but he did walk away with $10,000, taking second place.

You can catch Wheel of Fortune weekdays at 7:30 p.m. on KSBY.
