Tuesday night a drive-through ceremony was held in Arroyo Grande honoring several veterans with valor quilts.

The American Legion Auxillary worked with the Quilting Angels to make quilts for members of the military.

According to the President of the American Legion Auxillary, the quilts are specifically red, white, and blue for veterans.

"It was beyond my wildest dreams," said quilt recipient and Marine veteran Jerry Boots.

The President of the American Legion Auxillary says the Quilting Angels give out at least 20 blankets to service members every year.
