Due to the California recall election Lompoc will be pushing back their special municipal election.
Lompoc City Council voted today to push back the election on cannabis taxes for September 14.
This will align the city's election with the statewide recall election.
The proposed tax will impact Lompoc cannabis manufacturing and distribution.
The city expects to collect 1.2 million annually from the new tax if approved by voters.
