The Lompoc Parks and Recreation Divisions are clarifying the rules of the city parks under the Santa Barbara County mandates.
According to the city press release, gatherings of any size and the use of playgrounds are not permitted. People at the park need to maintain six feet of physical distancing.
The city said the only gatherings allowed are distanced recreational activities or people who live in the same household.
Sports facilities and stadiums are also to remain closed at this time.
Face coverings must be work, unless distancing can be maintained, according to the release.
