Lompoc police asking for public's help in latest shooting investigation

Lompoc police are turning to the public for help following a shooting over the weekend that injured three teenagers.

Police were called to the Fiesta Apartments on the 400 block of West North Avenue around 8:45 p.m. Saturday to reports of the shooting.

Police say they found a 14-year-old and 18-year-old with gunshot wounds.

Both of the boys were hospitalized, according to police, who described their conditions as "stable."

Another 14-year-old believed to also be a victim of the shooting arrived at the hospital shortly before 1:30 a.m. Sunday, police say. An update on his condition has not been released.

Investigators tell KSBY News that none of the victims saw the shooter or shooters.

The investigation is ongoing and police ask anyone who has any information on the shooting to call them at (805) 736-2341.
