Lompoc Police are investigating an attempted armed robbery that took place Sunday evening.
Police say they received reports of an armed robbery around 7:30 p.m. at the Highway 1 Liquor Store located at 618 N H St.
A man wearing a mask walked into the store, but officials say the suspect was unsuccessful in his attempt to steal and nothing was taken.
