The Lompoc Police Department and CHP are searching for a woman who was reported missing Friday morning.

Lompoc police say 85-year-old Cynthia Yuhas has dementia and other medical conditions, making her at risk.

Officers say Yuhas left her home in Lompoc by herself at about 6:30 a.m. Friday to possibly go to northern California.

Her cell phone was last located near San Jose, according to police.

Yuhas drives a 1998 green Volvo S70 GLT four-door with a California license plate number DP605YL, according to Lompoc police.

Officials describe Yuhas as a white female adult standing at 5 feet and 8 inches and weighing about 130 pounds. She has hazel eyes, gray hair and a light/pale complexion.

Anyone with information about Yuhas' whereabouts is asked to call the Lompoc Police Department at 805-736-2341.
