The City of Lompoc Recreation Division is hosting an employment workshop for teens and young adults.
Event organizers say the three-day workshop will focus on new, helpful techniques for finding a new job, including how to write a job application and resume. plus interviewing tips and techniques.
Everyone who participates in the Summer Employment Workshop is guaranteed an interview with the Lompoc Recreation Division for summer employment.
The workshop is happening from 9 a.m. to noon on Tuesday, Feb. 18, Wednesday Feb. 19 and Thursday Feb. 20 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Anderson Recreation Center.
The camp costs $15 per student.
Event organizers say this program has proven to help teens and young adults find a summer job and further their employment opportunities.
