People in northern San Luis Obispo County may be hearing loud noises such as artillery and explosives over the coming days.
Camp Roberts officials say training at the base from Aug. 18 through 28 will last into the evening hours and people in nearby communities may hear more noise.
Earlier this summer, Camp Roberts said annual training was taking place in a shorter period of time due to the COVID-19 pandemic and increased traffic from California National Guard vehicleswas likely to be seen on local highways.
