People in northern San Luis Obispo County may see more military vehicles on the road in the coming months.

Camp Roberts says trucks and humvees with the California Army National Guard will be traveling along highways 101 and 46 to attend training at the base in July and the first few weeks of August.

The training happens every year, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it's now being done during a shorter time frame.

Officials say military helicopters will also be in the area as part of the training.
