A magnitude 2.3 earthquake hit the Orcutt area shortly after 5:20 a.m. Friday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
KSBY has received calls from a few people in the area saying they felt the quake.
It is not yet known if there have been any injuries or damages reported as a result of the earthquake.
