UPDATE (10:35 a.m.) - A man suffered what are described as major traumatic injuries when a vehicle rolled over him Wednesday morning near Santa Ynez.
It happened at about 9 a.m. in the 3200 block of Live Oak Rd.
According to the Santa Barbara County Fire Department, it's unknown at this time what caused the vehicle to roll over the man but the incident is under investigation.
The man in his early 50s was taken to the hospital by helicopter.

(9:43 a.m.) - Major injuries were reported in a crash Wednesday morning in Santa Ynez.
According to the California Highway Patrol it happened at about 9 a.m. on the 3200 block of Live Oak Road.
Several emergency response crews from Santa Barbara County, including Calstar, were requested at the scene.
No other information was immediately available.
