A man sustained major injuries after being hit by a car in an Orcutt parking lot Monday, officials say.
It happened shortly before 11:15 a.m. at Albertsons on the 1100 block of E. Clark Ave.
Officials at the scene say the man was hit by a white Lexus near the store's entrance.
The man was reportedly being taken to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital for treatment of his injuries.
No other information was immediately available.
