A person is in the hospital after their ship ran ashore at a Santa Barbara beach.
Santa Barbara City Fire officials say they responded to a report of a vessel that had run ashore near Mesa Lane Beach.
When they located the ship, crews discovered a person inside it who had sustained moderate to severe injuries.
The patient was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
