A man is dead after being hit by a car in Goleta on Nov. 13.
Santa Barbara County Fire officials say the car was heading westbound on Cathedral Oaks Road before hitting the man.
Authorities say it is unknown at this time whether he was in the traffic or bike lanes, but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Santa Barbara County Police say the area will be closed between Glen Annie and Los Carneros for about four hours while they investigate, but officers say they do not suspect it involves a DUI.
Fire officials said the driver is cooperating with law enforcement.
