A man was killed in a fire at a condominium complex Friday morning in Lompoc.
It happened at about 9 a.m. Friday in the 1000 block of West Chestnut Avenue.
According to city officials, just one condo unit was involved. Another person and a cat reportedly escaped without injury.
The man who died in the fire has not yet been identified.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
