Miramar Beach and Fernald Point Beach are closed to recreational water contact due to a sewage spill according to Santa Barbara County officials.
Signs are posted. Officials say to avoid contact with the water until the water is safe for recreational use. Contact with contaminated water increases the risk of illnesses.
Officials have not said how long the closures will be.
