Thousands of PG&E customers were without power in Orcutt and the surrounding area Sunday afternoon.
Two outages were reported shortly before 4 p.m. They were impacting more than 5,600 customers in the Tanglewood and Orcutt areas along both sides of Highway 135 and off Black Road and Highway 1.
Restoration was not expected before 11 p.m.
No word on the cause of either outage.
