The 38th annual Morro Bay Harbor Festival takes place this weekend in Morro Bay.
The festival kicks off Friday night with a concert featuring the band Cracker and special guest Peter Case. The concert is scheduled to take place from 5:30 to 10 p.m. General admission tickets are $39.
Entrance tickets to festival events on Saturday, Oct. 5 and Sunday, Oct. 6 are $6.
Each day's line-up includes a full schedule of live music plus special performances and entertainment for kids. Special events include an oyster eating contest at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday and a Hawaiian shirt contest at 3 p.m. on Sunday.
More than two dozen vendors will also be on hand selling food, drinks, and a variety of gifts.
The Morro Bay Harbor Festival will take place adjacent to the Maritime Museum, which is located at 1210 Embarcadero. It will be open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday. Click here to purchase tickets.
