Morro Bay indulges in avocados and margaritas at street festival

Holy Guacamole!

Avocado dishes and margarita glasses took over the Morro Bay embarcadero Saturday for the Avocado and Margarita Street Festival.

People indulged in California avocados and quenched their thirst with refreshing margaritas that took place along the water.

The sold out event featured live music, local vendors and activities and supported the Morro Bay Chamber of Commerce, a handful of non-profits and the Morro Bay High School cheerleaders.

The festival runs from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday. For more details, click here.

Kids could enjoy themselves too with some entertainment.
