A convicted felon was arrested during a traffic stop in Morro Bay over the weekend, police say.
Morro Bay police say officers pulled over Jesse Franklin Cornelison, 30, Sunday at about 1:07 a.m. on the 700 block of Quintana Road.
Police say the convicted felon was found to be driving on a suspended license while in possession of a gun and drug paraphernalia.
Cornelison was taken into custody and booked at the San Luis Obispo County Jail.
Jail logs show he remained in custody Tuesday afternoon in lieu of $50,000.
