The Santa Barbara County Coroner's Office has identified the motorcyclist killed in a crash on Highway 192 in the Montecito area last week as Jonathan Joseph Reichlen, 47, of Santa Barbara.
The California Highway Patrol says officers were dispatched to the scene shortly before 7 a.m. Friday.
Officers say it's unknown when Reichlen crashed, but it appears either Thursday night or early Friday morning he was heading westbound on the highway, east of Glen Oaks Drive, at an unknown speed when he drifted off the road and crashed his 2018 BMW motorcycle into a drainage culvert.
Reichlen died at the scene.
No other information related to the crash has been released.
