Another mountain lion sighting was reported near UCSB.
The campus police department says police were called to the beach below the cliffs at Campus Point after a lion was spotted there at about 7:45 p.m. Monday.
Fish and Wildlife was reportedly notified.
People are asked to avoid the area until further notice.
This is at least the fourth recent sighting on campus property.
Mid-September, three reports were made regarding mountain lion sightings at or near UCSB.
