For the third time this week, a mountain lion has been spotted on the U.C. Santa Barbara campus.
University police say the mountain lion was seen Thursday morning in the area of the West Campus Child Care Center.
The first sighting was reported on Tuesday. In that case, a mountain lion was seen at Campus Point near the lagoon and the service road turnaround.
Then on Wednesday, a cougar was seen in the area of the Devereux Lagoon.
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has reportedly been notified of each sighting.
The university is warning students and staff to be aware of their surroundings and report any additional sightings.
