The Arroyo Grande City Council approved a new design for the inclusive Elm Street Park Playground in Arroyo Grande.
The council unanimously approved a replacement that will incorporate nature grounds, play-on technology promoting physical activity, and an outdoor adult fitness zone.
Recreation services spent two years designing the upgrades.
The progress is expected to be finished by 2023.
