A developer called the Koto Group began reconstruction June 15 at the site of the old Grandview Apartments in Paso Robles.
A new apartment complex called Vista Robles will replace the old development.
Vista Robles will have 54 apartments featuring patios, wood flooring, granite countertops, a washer and dryer in each unit, air conditioning and new electrical and plumbing.
One-bedroom apartments will range in price from $1,500 to $1,575.
Two-bedroom apartments will range in price from $1,600 to $1,700.
Three-bedroom apartments will range in price from $1,850 to $1,900.
Reconstruction is expected to continue through summer with a target opening date of September 2020. Leasing will begin in mid-July.
Koto Group has rental developments in San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara counties.
