If you are in for a fright this Halloween, the Nightmare on Main Street in Templeton could be the place to check out this year.
The event has been going on for nine years now at 99 Main Street in Templeton. The location is an old historic home that has been abandoned and boarded up for over 100 years.
The non-profit Nightmare on Main organizes the event and uses the money raised to give back to the community.
There are 22 rooms with many different moving parts that guests can walk through. Organizers say there are new chilling features and special effects that have been added to make this year's event the scariest one yet.
The old historic home is donated by Dr. Castellanos.
Tickets cost $10, a VIP front of the line ticket costs $17.
Tours are from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. on these dates:
Oct. 4, 5, 11, 12, 18,19, 25, 26, 30, and 31.
Nov. 1 and 2.
There will be lights on tours for $5 on Oct. 19 and 26 from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.
