The California Highway Patrol says before noon on May 21st, a white Mercedes sedan collided into a building in the 1400 block of East Valley Road in Montecito.
Officers say the driver of the sedan placed her foot on the accelerator instead of the brake pedal as she intended. The vehicle then accelerated forward and collided into the building.
There were no injuries as a result of the collision.
Drugs and alcohol are not believed to have been a factor, according to the CHP.
It's unclear how much damage the property suffered at this time.
