Fire damaged a condo in Santa Barbara on Thursday.
It was reported at about 11:40 a.m. in the 4300 block of Modoc Rd.
Firefighters arrived to find one unit of the two-story complex with flames on the first and second floors.

The Santa Barbara County Fire Department said initial reports indicated that people might have been trapped inside the burning building, so a second alarm was called and additional crews responded.
Crews were able to knock down the fire and search the building. No one was found inside and no injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
