The Paso Robles Unified School District announced Wednesday morning that there will be no school lunches for students.

The school district usually prepares lunches for hundreds of children each day due to the current COVID-19 circumstances.

As of Wednesday morning, the program is only being canceled for Wednesday June 10 due to an active shooter and shelter in place situation happening in town.

The Free Meals Program serves children 18 and under free meals at the Paso Robles High School, Georgia Brown Elementary or the Culinary Arts Center.
