The North Beach Campground and the Oceano Campground on Pier Avenue will open this Monday.
The campgrounds have been closed since March because of covid-19.
State park officials say 167 sites will become available.
Shore bird nesting season ends October 1.
The consent period with the coastal commission expires October 5, but there’s no timeline when the dunes will reopen.
State parks says they are still nailing down a reopening plan.
