UPDATE (6:15 p.m.) - Police say a 33-year-old man is deceased following a shooting.
Santa Maria officials say the victim was involved in altercation Sunday afternoon that led to shooting in front of 805 Tacos.
Authorities say he was being transported by ambulance to Marian Regional Medical Center, but succumbed to his injuries.
Police say they are still processing the scene and looking for potential suspect(s).
According to Santa Maria Police, they do not know if the shooting is gang-related at this time.

ORIGINAL (5:00 p.m.) - Santa Maria police say officers are investigating reports of a shooting near the 1000 block of West Main Street.
Authorities say a call came in around just before 3:30 p.m.
Officers are still on scene with the Crime Lab Unit.
