One person is dead after a vehicle went off Highway 166 near Willow Springs.
Santa Barbara County Fire crews responded to a deadly crash just after 5 p.m. Friday.
Officials say a single vehicle went approximately 200 feet over the side of the road.
One person was found dead at the scene. However, extensive search is underway for any other possible victims.
Crews have reduced Highway 166 is down to one lane. Drivers are urged to avoid the area.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
