Santa Maria Firefighters responded to reports of a structure fire Monday morning.
The fire broke out on the the exterior of a structure on the 200 block of West Street.
Fire officials say one person was transported to a nearby hospital. The extent of their injuries is unknown at this time.
Santa Maria Fire and AMR responded to the scene.
The cause of the structure fire is under investigation.
