A local non-profit organization called One805 is providing counseling services and resources to the first responders involved in the Conception boat fire incident.
One805 was created in the wake of the Montecito mudslides last year.
The group wanted to give back to the first responders and show them how much their efforts were greatly appreciated.
The organization has raised more than $2 million to provide essential equipment and services to groups like Santa Barbara Fire, Police and Sheriff's Office.
They are now shifting their efforts to lending support to the first responders working on the boat fire.
"It's so sad that this is happening in our community again," said Angela Binetti-Schmidt, One805 Program Administrator. "It's so sad, but this time we are prepared in how we can help. We have such a loving community here in Santa Barbara. People want to help. Now we have a vehicle of how to help, One805."
