Nearly 100 people came together for a Veterans Day ceremony at Pine Grove Cemetery in Orcutt on Monday.

In addition to recognizing veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces, the ceremony included representatives from Canada, Australia and Great Britain also honoring those from their respective countries.

Major General Stephen N. Whiting of Vandenberg Air Force Base gave the keynote address.

"Given at Vandenberg now that we have such a combined representation from our Australian, Canadian and British allies, we thought this would be a great opportunity to share in our traditions and I want to thank the American Legion for putting on this ceremony," he said.

Vandenberg's new Combined Force Space Component Command works closely with coalition partners in those countries to monitor activity in space.
