A 42-year-old man was rescued by Santa Barbara County Fire officials after paragliding and crash landing off Gibraltar Road.
Officials say he suffered leg and chest non-life-threatening injuries and was flown by helicopter to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital.
This incident occurred just before 11:30 a.m. Wednesday morning.
