Pardon My French Bakery in Grover Beach is a family-owned shop working hard during the COVID-19 pandemic to give back to the Central Coast community.

To name a few... the bakery serves up fresh breakfast pastries, cupcakes, French macarons, tarts, mousses, and specialty cakes.

Right now, they are offering "thank you" and "stay safe" boxes to order for local people working on the front lines during the pandemic. The specialty boxes cost $15 for $20 worth of sweet treats.

Bakery co-owner Lalo Tejada says he will deliver anywhere for free within the Five Cities area.

"I wanted to give back and I know a lot of people in the community wanted to give back," Tejada said. "This is a way for us to thank everybody that is out on the front line - hospitals, law enforcement, people at the grocery stores, pharmacists, people that are getting hit hard with having that one-on-one with tons of people."

Pardon My French Bakery is still selling out every day. Tejada says this is thanks to the community recognizing the need to help out local businesses.

Tejada wants to try and keep as much normalcy as possible; however, the bakery is still taking extra safety precautions. Only one person is allowed in at a time, and Tejada says he sanitizes everything between customers.

The bakery is offering all of their treats at a 15% discount as the owners recognize these are tough times for most, and income can be scarce right now.

You can follow the bakery on their social media accounts for the latest updates on their special offers.
