The Paso Robles City Council voted to place a one-cent sales tax increase on the November 2020 ballot.
The City Council said the money from this tax will go toward firefighting services, police, and fixing roads.
The proposed measure would, if passed by voters, sunset in 12 years or when terminated by the voters.
