While the California Mid-State Fair won't be happening this year, you can still get your fill of fair food.
Starting next week, the Paso Robles Event Center will be hosting a "Fair Food Fix."
The event will be held Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings on the weekends of June 26-28, July 17-19, and July 24-26.
Between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. on those dates, classic fair food like corn dogs and funnel cakes will be available, along with to-go beverages.
On Saturdays and Sundays of those same weekends, the carnival lot will be turned into a drive-in movie theater able to accommodate up to 150 vehicles.
The cost is $20 per vehicle, cash only. The gates will open at 7:30 p.m. and the movie will start at 8:30 p.m.
