UPDATE (Sunday 4:35 p.m.) - Paso Robles police said a black truck was traveling northbound on Spring St. and attempted to use the two-way left turn lane to pass a vehicle.

The driver of the other vehicle attempted to speed up, according to officials.

Police said the driver of the truck then realized the two-way left turn lane was occupied and swerved into oncoming traffic to turn left on to 7th St.

Due to speed, the truck careened into the gas station, smashing into a parked truck, sheering off a gas pump, according to Paso PD.

Authorities said no one was injured and drugs/alcohol are not a factor.
