On Friday night, Paso Robles High School joined school districts all over the nation by honoring their seniors.

The campaign that schools are participating in is called #BeTheLight. And Paso Robles High School lit up War Memorial Stadium as a symbolic act to show support for their seniors, spring athletes, coaches and more.

The lights are a beacon to demonstrate that the community is still thinking of the students and families; and tonight War Memorial Stadium's scoreboard read "20-20" for it's seniors.

Familes drove by in cars and honked their horns in solidarity.

"We're trying to celebrate our seniors and our student athletes who's year has been extra challenge," said Anthony Overton, Paso Robles High School principal. "And we just wanted to give our community the opportunity to show them that we are still thinking about them. We care about them, and we can't wait to get to see them all again as soon as possible."

The #BeTheLight campaign has been sweeping the nation and social media.
