The Lowe's Home Improvement store in Paso Robles is lending its services to a local nonprofit youth arts program.

On Wednesday, 15 employees contributed to the Paso Robles Youth Art Foundation by working on several projects for the organization's building.

They painted the hallways and the art room, put up new blinds, added storage units and new runners for the stage as well as gifted a new refrigerator to the group.

"Any little thing anyone in our community gives back is always appreciated," says Amanda Gonzalez, Lowe's supervisor, "Even when the kids came in yesterday and saw the artroom was painted, they noticed it and were like wow who did this."

The Paso Robles Youth Art Foundation provides free classes to children.

The group says they teach around 400 students every quarter and their next show is at the end of January.
