The Paso Robles Recreation Services is offering a new series of art classes at Centennial Park for kids 5 to 8 years old.
Organizers say the six week course is designed to help students discover and draw basic shapes from everyday items.
The class will also focus on how to add backgrounds, use organic shapes, create contour lines, three-dimensional drawing techniques and more.
Students will work on several projects including a self-portrait and a cartoon style rabbit.
Classes will happen in the Centennial Park courtyard from 3:15 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. starting Monday and going through March 29, as well as Tuesdays until March 30 for kids 7 to 8 years old.
