Officials with the Paso Robles School District announced Tuesday that the 2020-21 school year will begin with distance learning.
District officials say going with this plan versus a hybrid or traditional way of learning is due to direction from the State government and County Public Health Department.
Distance learning is available for all grades and will include daily live interaction with teachers who will provide rigorous video instruction and support.
Parents also have the option to apply for homeschooling or independent study for their children. Homeschooling is available for grades TK - 8 and independent study is available for grades 9 -12. Those applications can be found here.
